Kennedy High School awarded T-shirts and prizes to students with a grade point average above 3.0 as part of the school’s Renaissance Evening on Tuesday. More than 500 students--almost a third of the school’s students--were eligible, said Principal Norie Atherton.
The school will host its Back-to-School Night for parents, teachers and students tonight at 7 at the school, 8281 Walker St. New teachers will be introduced and students will perform.
