It Takes Two to Score . . . a Lot

Are the Mighty Ducks merely a two-man team? Some fans might think so, considering All-Stars Paul Kariya and Teemu Selanne have accounted for 31.2% of their team’s goals. But Kariya and Selanne aren’t the NHL’s most dynamic duo this season.
The NHL’s Top Goal-Scoring Twosomes:
1. Florida’s Pavel Bure (23% of his team’s goals) and Ray Whitney (10.6%) account for 33.6% of Panthers’ goals.
2. San Jose’s Owen Nolan (20.4%) and Jeff Friesen (12%), 32.4%.
3. Chicago’s Tony Amonte (20.1%) and Eric Daze (11.9%), 31.4%.
4. Mighty Ducks’ Paul Kariya (17.4%) and Teemu Selanne (13.8%), 31.2%.
5. Philadelphia’s Eric Lindros (12.7%) and John LeClair (17.5%), 30.2%.
