Unsympathetic Star

Regarding Jean Bardet (“Fallen Star,” March 22): The whole world holds France as a shining example of the best in cuisine--purists who must have only the best quality to work with. What a loss of innocence to discover fakers masquerading as top chefs. I admire Michelin for dethroning Jean Bardet and setting an example for others. Why would he do this? Greed, no doubt; an 8-acre spread with an income in the millions. I have no sympathy for the man.
