The 45-day period for public comment on the proposed Whispering Hills development has been postponed for two weeks.
The city planning staff decided Tuesday to put off the beginning of the comment period to give residents, particularly those who signed a petition about protecting the city’s ridgeline two years ago, more time to review the environmental impact report.
Written comments that arrive in the next two weeks will not be turned away, however, but will be held until the period begins.
