Jeffery M. Thomas was named the city’s mayor Monday night and will serve a one-year term. Thomas said his main goals as mayor include successfully acquiring the Tustin Marine Corps Air Station and working with neighboring cities to protect the city from increased flight congestion from John Wayne Airport. Tracy Wills Worley stepped down as mayor and is now the mayor pro tem.
