Barry, still recovering from nerve problems in his neck and shoulder area, was a non-factor in 13 minutes Sunday, scoring five points on one-for-five shooting.
Barry, a dangerous perimeter threat in last season’s playoffs, realizes he must come around fast.
“I feel good. As good as I’ve felt in months,” said Barry, a former Laker who last week complained that he had lost his feel on several jump shots. “Our offense is really not going to be a problem. We have to fix our defense. [The Lakers] run a set offense. They didn’t do anything we didn’t know was coming.”

Anderson, on fellow veteran Ron Harper, the Laker guard who had six offensive rebounds in Game 1: “You’ve got Jason [Williams] on him who’s barely six feet, and Harper knows how to get in after the rebounds. He’s been doing it his whole career. We’ve got to limit him.”
