Theme: Gore’s Vision for the Future
Tribute: Vietnam veterans
Participants: Matt Mosely, an Atlanta firefighter who, hitched to a helicopter, saved Ivers Sims, who was trapped in a crane tower. Also honored will be LAPD Officers Cynthia French, Romik Keshishi and Joan Leuck. French shot a heavily armed man who had already shot her five times when she saw he was moving to fire at a fellow officer.
