CarOrder.com Shuts Site

Trilogy Inc.’s CarOrder.com unit said it closed its automobile-shopping Internet site and fired 100 of its 140 employees Friday. Austin, Texas-based CarOrder.com said it plans to plans to buy dealerships and then start online sales again. Closely held Trilogy has given CarOrder.com $25 million for the purchases, a spokeswoman said.
