Gang Rape of Teen

Re “4 Teens Charged in Rape of Unconscious Girl, 16,” Dec. 7:
About the alleged rapes that occurred in Van Nuys, it seems unjust that the young person who hosted the “ditch party” should be held blameless in the matter. I feel that this person was responsible for providing the site and condoning the action by not interfering with or reporting the crime to authorities. At the very least, he should be charged with aiding and abetting an alleged crime. To allow the “host” of such parties or gatherings to remain blameless sends a message to others that they can walk away scot-free if anything bad happens during their own parties.

* Just a wild hunch, but I’ll bet the four teenagers accused of raping an unconscious 16-year-old girl don’t attend church regularly, can’t recite half the Ten Commandments and have never been Boy Scouts.
