Investigators continued to search Monday for three men involved in the shooting of a 19-year-old man who was using a pay phone in Garden Grove, police said.
Raul Moreno was using the phone about 9:10 p.m. Saturday outside a store in the 12500 block of Westminster Boulevard, Garden Grove Police Sgt. David Kivler said. A tan or other light-colored compact car with three people inside pulled up beside Moreno, and several gunshots were fired, striking him in the chest and arm.
Moreno was transported to UCI Medical Center in Orange, where he was treated and released, a hospital spokeswoman said.
Investigators think the shooting was gang-related, Kivler said.
