Homestore.com Files to Sell 8.3 Million Shares of Stock

Homestore.com in Thousand Oaks has filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission to sell 8.3 million shares of its common stock.
Of these shares, about 4.25 million are being offered by stockholders and the remainder are being sold by the company itself. Homestore.com will not receive any proceeds from the sale of shares by stockholders.
Morgan Stanley Dean Witter will manage the underwriting group, with Merrill Lynch & Co., Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette, Robertson Stephens, Chase H&Q; and Wit Capital Corp. serving as co-managers.
