The Planning Commission’s approval of a request by the Bixby Ranch Co. to remove 68 of 227 eucalyptus trees larger than 12 inches in diameter to make room for entrances to a new shopping center will be reviewed at the City Council meeting at 7 p.m. Monday. Construction of the Bixby Old Ranch Towne Center, east of Seal Beach Boulevard and north of Lampson Avenue, is underway.
