Festival of Arts members have submitted petitions to the art organization’s headquarters with the intent of changing the festival’s bylaws in order to prevent it from leaving Laguna Beach.
The Committee to Keep the Festival of Arts in Laguna Beach turned in the 375 signatures Wednesday.
The petitions request that a meeting be held so members can decide on amending the festival’s bylaws to require a two-thirds approval of the 2,275 voting members before the organization could move out of Laguna Beach.
