An Orange County Superior Court judge will decide at an upcoming court hearing whether to allow Festival of Arts members to hold an immediate recall election of the festival board.
Judge William F. McDonald will reconsider his June 5 ruling, in which he ordered the Festival of Arts board to allow festival members to vote only on whether to have a recall election. However, festival members would not be able to have an instant recall; mailers would be sent to all voting festival members.
Hall and other festival members are trying to recall the board to halt its efforts to move the 68-year Laguna Beach institution to San Clemente.
