* Walgreen Co., the largest U.S. drugstore chain, said fiscal third-quarter earnings rose 22%, fueled by prescription drug sales, new stores and lower costs. Net income rose to $193.6 million, or 19 cents a share, in the quarter ended May 31, from $159.3 million, or 16 cents, a year earlier. Sales rose 18% to $5.39 billion.
