BidVantage, Georgia Firm Join to Buy, Sell Spare Computer Parts

BidVantage Inc. in Camarillo and Servigistics Inc. of Marietta, Ga., have teamed up to operate an Internet-based business for buying and selling spare computer parts.
Company officials said the integration of BidVantage’s technology into Servigistics’ software will help organizations save money by making it easier for them to both buy new and refurbished parts to replenish their inventories and sell obsolete and excess parts.
Servigistics is a provider of Web-based planning and forecasting business products. BidVantage is a business-to-business electronics marketplace for sellers and buyers.
