The Planning Commission approved design changes to the senior affordable-housing project during a recent meeting. Changes include the planting of creeping fig and evergreen pear trees around the facility’s perimeter and the addition of a security fence along the Walker Street parking lot. The housing center, which is under construction, is at 7051 Walker St.
