From Times Wire Reports
Late Croatian President Franjo Tudjman’s daughter is suspected of accepting $240,000 from a company trying to win her support for a lucrative contract, police said. Authorities allege that businessman Igor Knezevic paid Nevenka Tudjman, 48, to make sure that his firm won the contract to sell and maintain communication and other equipment to several Croatian universities and companies. If indicted and convicted, she faces between six months and five years in prison. The Tudjman family denies any wrongdoing.
