EBay Inc. fired 32 employees of its Butterfield unit as part of its efforts to move its on-site auctions online. The move affects about 15% of Butterfield’s work force. Butterfield General Manager Geoff Iddison said the cuts were made in Los Angeles, Chicago and San Francisco.
