7:30 TONIGHT COVINA DISTRICT STADIUM
After an 0-3-1 start, Garden Grove has won six in a row and appears poised to make a playoff run. The Argonauts returned only eight starters from last year’s league championship team but might be better equipped to handle playoff pressure this time. “Last year, they really didn’t know what to expect,” Garden Grove Coach Kris Van Hook said. “This year, we’ve got a better draw and we have guys who know what it takes.” Van Hook said he believes a victory tonight will take a mistake-free game from Keo Sutherland and a strong showing from the Argonauts’ offensive line.
