Boy, 2, Fatally Struck by Car

A 2-year-old boy was struck and killed by a car in an Oxnard mobile home park Thursday evening.
Police did not release the boy’s name in the 5:30 p.m. accident.
After being hit, the boy was taken from the Wagon Wheel Mobile Home Park to St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Oxnard in a private car, said Oxnard Police Cmdr. Tom Chronister.
The boy, who was a resident of the mobile home park, was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital, he said.
