Forum on Surviving Stress of Holidays

HELP of Ojai, the Gables and Ojai Valley Community Hospital will host a forum on coping with holiday stress from 10 a.m. to noon Dec. 6 at the Gables, 701 N. Montgomery St.
A panel will discuss alcohol use, medications, depression, anxiety, support groups, suicide, physical or mental crisis, holiday expectations, grief and loss.
Speakers will include psychiatrist Lakshman W. Rasiah; family therapist Susie Salguero; Joe Evans, a detective with the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department; and Michael S. Prater, director of the pharmacy at Ojai Valley Community Hospital.
There is no cost, but reservations are requested. For more information, call 646-1446.
