The City Council is expected to finalize plans tonight for the Boys & Girls Club of Fullerton to set up a portable building at Valencia Park for before- and after-school programs.
The Planning Commission voted unanimously in June to support the plan, which officials said has received no opposition from community members.
Costs associated with the building and the programs will be paid by the Boys & Girls Club, which expects to open the new facility in December. The council is expected to vote on the matter during the 4 p.m. session tonight.
The meeting will be at City Hall, 303 W. Commonwealth Ave.
