Students Can Apply for Scholarships

Several college scholarships are available for high school students.
Toyota is offering 100 scholarships for seniors who will enroll at a four-year college or university next fall.
The $10,000 and $20,000 awards will be presented to students who have outstanding academic records and leadership experience, and who have spent time volunteering in their communities. The deadline is Dec. 1.
Coca-Cola will choose 50 students nationwide to receive $20,000 awards, which can be used at any accredited college or university in the country. In addition, 400 students will receive $4,000 awards. Coca-Cola’s deadline is Oct. 31.
The Edison Scholars Program is looking for three well-rounded students who will attend a four-year California college or university. Edison will award those students $20,000 each.
