In Express League eight-man football:
Liberty Christian 44, Los Angeles Price 28--Mike Spagnola rushed for 265 yards in 32 carries and scored five touchdowns for Liberty Christian (5-1, 3-0).
Spagnola rushed for a school-record 265 yards and scored a school-record 34 points for the Minutemen, who have won four in a row.
Senior David Huie, a converted offensive lineman now playing tight end, had three receptions and scored his first touchdown for Liberty Christian. Price, the Southern Section eight-man small school champion last season, fell to 0-4, 0-3.
Murrieta Calvary Chapel 47, Eastside Christian 0--Greg Curry and Matt Ahlgrim each scored two short rushing touchdowns and Mick Okerson caught a six-yard scoring pass from Curry and ran in from 10 yards to lead Murrieta Calvary Chapel (5-2, 4-0).
Eastside Christian (2-4, 1-3) was held to 120 total yards and turned the ball over four times on three fumbles and an interception.
