Music Guild Sets Season of International Fare

The Music Guild has announced its chamber music concerts for 2000-2001, the organization’s 56th season, beginning with the Talich String Quartet, Oct. 16-18 at Cal State Northridge, Cal State Long Beach and the Wilshire-Ebell Theatre. All performances are at 8 p.m.
The Alexander String Quartet plays on the series Dec. 4-6, to be followed by the Jacques Thibaud String Trio, with pianist Ayke Agus and double-bassist Christopher Hanulik, Feb. 5-7.
The Osiris Piano Trio from Amsterdam visits the Music Guild March 5-7. From Paris comes the Parisii String Quartet, March 26-28. And the St. Petersburg String Quartet, with pianist Justin Blasdale, closes the series, April 16-18.
