City Council candidate Douglas T. Cox filed a complaint with the city attorney asking to get equal air time from cable company Adelphia for all candidates, arguing that council hopeful David McCauley is getting more time than others.
McCauley continues to host the La Habra Chamber’s weekly “La Habra Connection,” cablecast to more than 12,000 households. “Regardless of the candidate’s program content, he is building a brand image,” said Cox. McCauley said he would discuss the matter with the city attorney to determine wether he should continue with the program.
