LAPD Helps Actors

* As a SAG actor on strike for just a fair piece of the commercial pie, I would like to commend the LAPD for its handling of our 10,000-star-studded show of solidarity against corporate greed, as we marched down Wilshire Boulevard last Wednesday morning. The officers were courteous, helpful and brilliantly efficient in their guidance and control of the mass of talent, allowing us to make our point without it being too disruptive to the flow of traffic. Bravo, LAPD.
Also some kudos to the patience of the passing motorists who showed support with their honking horns and V signs. Oh yes, there was one “flipped finger” from one sourpuss as he drove by in his corporate Mercedes.
