Mothers and their daughters in the seventh through 10th grades may register for “Shared Chapters,” the Newport Beach Central Library’s newest parent-child book discussion group, which will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the conference room of the library, at 1000 Avocado Ave. The group will discuss “The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle.” Meetings will take place on the fourth Tuesday of the month throughout the school year.
