City officials are requesting that residents and business owners help keep debris out of storm drains to ensure that the trash doesn’t reach Trabuco and San Juan creeks and the ocean.
After a long, dry summer like this year’s, fall rain can bring a heavy “first flush.” Picking up pet waste, trash and yard debris, planting vegetation to stabilize soil on slopes and fixing automotive leaks can reduce pollution of nearby waters. Information: (949) 493-1171.
