The City Council voted Wednesday to more than double the amount of a purchase order with S. Parker Engineering, which is repairing sidewalks, as part of the city’s capital improvement projects.
Council members voted 3-1 to approve an increase of $250,000 to an agreement with the Fountain Valley-based company. The increase brings the total contract amount to $474,000.
Some of the improvement projects include street repairs along Westminster Boulevard from Beach Boulevard to Magnolia Street.
Councilman Tony Lam was absent and Joy Neugebauer voted against the increase.
