More than 1,600 people attended the 18th annual fund-raising barbecue Saturday at the Fran Joswick Center, which provides therapeutic horse-riding programs for people with physical and cognitive disabilities.
The event, which featured pig races, live music and a silent auction, raised about $270,000--about 30% of the nonprofit organization’s annual budget, according to officials. Information: (949) 240-8441.
