Walk to School Day will be Oct. 4 at the city’s campuses. The event is aimed at promoting pedestrian safety and physical activity among youngsters. Organizations sponsoring Walk to School events may be eligible for grants. Banners, yard signs and stickers are available to those planning an event. Information: (949) 824-5371.
