Highland 5, Lancaster 2--Natalie Rawson broke a 2-2 tie with an RBI single during a three-run rally in the seventh in a Golden League game at Lancaster.
Rawson had three hits, two RBIs and scored twice for Highland (9-5, 3-0).
Palmdale 4, Quartz Hill 3--Eileen Ilejay’s run-scoring single in the eighth sparked a two-run rally for the Falcons (7-11-2, 2-1) in a Golden League victory at Quartz Hill.
Kellie Cox of Quartz Hill (8-9, 2-1) had three hits.
Simi Valley 7, Lompoc 4--Nicole Gutierrez, Heidi Knabe, Christina Haddad and Nicole Brazier each had two hits for the Pioneers (9-6-1) in a Righetti tournament Gold Bracket quarterfinal victory.
San Fernando 4, Kennedy 1--Julie Jimenez (4-2-1) pitched a three-hitter and struck out two for the Tigers (8-3-1, 2-2-1) in a Valley Mission League game at San Fernando.
Jimenez hit a two-out, RBI double in the fifth to break a 1-1 tie.
Littlerock 3, Antelope Valley 1--Alondra Scandrick was four for four, including a run-scoring single, for the Lobos in a Golden League victory at Littlerock.
Carly Fleming (5-7) pitched a three-hitter and struck out five for Littlerock (7-8, 1-2).
Santa Paula 5, Nordhoff 1--Jalena Martinez (7-0) pitched a two-hitter with seven strikeouts, and the Cardinals scored four unearned runs in a Frontier League game at Santa Paula.
Valencia 3, Canyon 0--Tori Rocco (11-2) pitched a two-hitter with six strikeouts and recorded her eighth shutout, and Ashley Herrera’s run-scoring single in the fifth snapped a scoreless tie in a Foothill League game at Valencia.
Montclair Prep 5, Whitney 1--Jessica Madick (3-3) pitched a one-hitter and struck out eight in a Delphic League game at Franklin Field in Encino.
Madick was three for three and scored twice for Montclair Prep (6-4, 3-0).
