Fluor Unit Wins 5-Year Deal to Supply Williams Group

Fluor Corp. said Tuesday its American Equipment Co. unit received a five-year contract to provide equipment, tools and construction services to Williams Group International.
Financial terms of the contract, which is renewable, weren’t disclosed.
Williams is a contractor in the eastern U.S. specializing in construction and maintenance work for the power, petrochemical and paper industries.
Fluor and Rockwell International Corp. also said two of their units have formed a joint venture to deliver a range of service and manufacturing operations through a single source to selected facilities in North America.
The venture involves Fluor’s Global Services unit and Rockwell Automation Power Systems.
Shares of Aliso Viejo-based Fluor hit a 52-week high of $48.94 Tuesday before closing at $48.20, up $2.65. Rockwell’s stock rose 98 cents a share to $43.99. Both stocks trade on the New York Stock Exchange.
