Regarding “A Misstep Gets You the (Wagging) Finger,” July 27: This is a prime example that shows why I moved from the Bay Area to Los Angeles three years ago this summer.
High rents, no parking, aggressive panhandlers, crumbling infrastructure and a mayor who seems indifferent to all of it.
Sorry “Frisco,” but your city has lost all of its charm along with its sense of humor.
Even when I listened to my friends put down Los Angeles, I would secretly wish that I too lived in the land of never-ending sun, palm trees and movie stars.
Angelenos should stop having an inferiority complex when it comes to San Franciscans. If you’ve always thought they were a little bit jealous of you ... they are.
