Miracle Slows the Rockers

Nykesha Sales scored 11 of her 14 points in the second half as the Orlando Miracle rallied to beat Cleveland, 74-67, Tuesday night, preventing the visiting Rockers from clinching the Eastern Conference regular-season title before 5,941.
The victory helped Orlando (12-17) avoid a season sweep by Cleveland (21-7), which won two previous games by a combined 42 points.
Utah 76, Detroit 69--Natalie Williams had 26 points and 14 rebounds to help the Starzz (17-11) extend their franchise-record winning streak to eight games before 6,263 at Auburn Hills, Mich. The Starzz qualified for the playoffs for the first time Monday by virtue of Phoenix’s loss to Houston. Detroit is 8-20.
Sacramento 76, Minnesota 59--Yolanda Griffith scored 27 points and had 11 rebounds to lead the Monarchs (17-12) past the Lynx (9-19) before 9,094 at Sacramento.
