Cell Phones Collected in Domestic-Abuse Drive

Rep. Ed Royce (R-Fullerton) has collected 120 used cell phones at his local office for women at risk of domestic violence.
The effort is part of a nationwide campaign to give imperiled women cell phones, providing them quicker access to help in emergencies.
The phones are refurbished and reprogrammed before distribution.
