Stalker Arrested at Home of QVC Host

A Phoenix man convicted three years ago of stalking hosts of the QVC home shopping channel was arrested after he showed up at the New Jersey home of another of the channel’s personalities.
Phillip Young, 52, was charged with criminal attempted trespass and harassment and held without bail Friday. He was also ordered to undergo a psychological evaluation.
Young was arrested Monday at the Washington Township home of QVC host Pat DeMentri, the Mercer County prosecutor’s office said.
Police said Young had two boxes containing engagement and wedding rings strapped to his chest.
Young told police he hoped DeMentri would help him meet Lisa Robertson, a QVC host to whom he had sent letters, gifts and a honeymoon brochure.
He also sent letters to another QVC host, Kathy Levine, in 1997.
