Boise State 84, Cal State Fullerton 76--Freshman guard Ryan Dillon’s three-point shooting show in the second half wasn’t enough for the Titans.
Dillon made 10 of 15 three-point shots, including nine of 12 in the second half, in a 32-point performance, but Boise State held on at Titan Gym.
Dillon’s effort was a Titan school record for three-point baskets and was one shy of the Big West record of 11 set by UC Irvine’s Chris Brown against New Mexico State in 1994.
Fullerton (3-15, 2-6 in the Big West) lost for the seventh time in eight games at home this season. Boise State improved to 12-9 and 4-4.
