Christian School Gay Alumni ‘Coming Out’

Gay alumni who kept their sexuality hidden in their years at Oral Roberts University plan a “coming out” at the small Christian school in Tulsa, Okla., during this weekend’s homecoming celebrations.
Steve Wilkins, spokesman for the gay alumni group ORU-OUT, said the university has extended a “cautiously cordial” invitation.
The university does not recognize ORU-OUT as an official school organization, spokesman David Wagner said, but he added that members are welcome to attend.
