From Times Wire Reports
An 8-year-old boy was in critical condition after a team of surgeons worked through the night to reattach his right arm, which was bitten off by a 7-foot shark.
Jesse Arbogast was attacked Friday while he swam at Gulf Islands National Seashore near Fort Pickens in the Florida Panhandle.
The boy’s uncle wrestled the shark to shore, where medical personnel retrieved the arm.
Doctors said the boy’s arm should grow to normal size, but it will be months before they can see how well the limb will function.
