Pay More, Wait Longer to Buy Concert Tickets
- Share via
I called Ticketmaster recently to purchase ‘N Sync tickets--nightmare city [“Concerts Becoming a Pricier Affair,” July 17].
First a 20-minute hold, then an obnoxious series of announcements, then fees of $11 per ticket--convenience fee.
Whose convenience? Certainly not the consumer’s. An agent tried to sell me first a $30 T-shirt, then a magazine subscription, then a weekend getaway!
