Baker, one of the county’s hardest throwers, struck out 196 in 122 innings. She finished 12-6 with a 0.17 ERA, allowing a hit about every 3 2/3 innings for 19-7 Centurions.
EMILY HIVELY; TROY; SO.
Minus the strikeouts, Hively’s raw numbers weren’t far from Kennedy’s Michelle Turner. They led to a 17-6 record with a 0.24 ERA, and only 11 walks in 177 innings.
DIANA LA RIVA; TUSTIN; JR.
La Riva threw one of the county’s best rise balls, and it resulted in almost a 2:1 strikeouts-to-innings-pitched ratio, 207 in 119 innings. Had a 13-2 record with 0.02 ERA.
CARRIE WISEN; SONORA; SR.
Headed for Notre Dame, Wisen was a major player for Sonora, going 19-8 with a 0.69 ERA. She also batted .400 with 18 RBIs and scored 11 runs.

FIRST BASEMAN
JAMI WEDDLE; RANCHO ALAMITOS; SR.
Also played catcher but a first baseman naturally. Weddle is going to Southern Illinois at Carbondale after batting .451 with nine homers, 33 RBIs and 23 runs.

INFIELDERS
STEPHANIE CHURCHWELL; EL TORO; FR.
Got the attention of opponents, who were victimized by shortstop Churchwell’s .481 average. She also scored 28 runs and had 11 RBIs.
NORRELLE DICKSON; EL MODENA; SO.
Sophomore shortstop’s aggressive play helped El Modena reach Division III finals. Dickson batted .454 in leadoff spot with 25 runs, 25 steals in 26 attempts and 11 RBIs.
MALLORIE LENN; PACIFICA; JR.
One of the most powerful hitters in the county, Lenn batted .379 with 25 RBIs and 24 runs scored while playing third base for the fifth-ranked Mariners.

OUTFIELDERS
JENNY DOEZIE; FOUNTAIN VALLEY; SR.
Center fielder bound for St. Paul batted leadoff and had 22 stolen bases. Was key element in fourth-ranked Barons’ success, batting .300 and scoring 25 runs.
KIM MILLER; VALENCIA; SR.
Louisville-bound center fielder batted .505 with 28 runs and 11 RBIs in leadoff spot. Had a .628 on-base average in the first inning. Stole 32 bases in 35 attempts.
ERIN MOBLEY; FOOTHILL; SR.
Second-team infielder last season, will attend Northwestern. She fielded 1.000 with nine assists in right field, batted .398 with 20 runs and nine RBIs.

CATCHER
JAMIE DOTSON; FOOTHILL; JR.
Got a late start after an automobile injury, but shared team high with 21 RBIs and .341 average. Also had 14 assists and only 12 runners attempted to steal against her.

CHEZARE SIEVERS; ALISO NIGUEL; JR.
Outstanding second baseman is also one of the county’s top hitters, batting .427 with 19 RBIs, 11 runs and 30 stolen bases.

UTILITY
ELIZABETH BENDIG; FOOTHILL; SR.
Pitcher/shortstop batted .323 with 12 runs and 17 RBIs, and contributed in pitching circle with 8-0 record and 0.52 ERA. Will attend Stanford.
