From Times Wire Reports
Child endangerment charges were dropped against the mother of a 10-year-old St. Louis boy who was killed by a pack of stray dogs. The mother agreed to take parenting classes.
Prosecutors said they made the decision so Gladys Loman could learn to better care for her remaining son, who is 13 and mentally disabled.
Rodney McAllister was found mauled to death March 6 in a park near his home. Loman, 35, was arrested after police said she told them she had not seen her son since the night before and had no idea where he was.
