Strawberry’s Son Transfers to Mater Dei

D.J. Strawberry, son of former Dodger outfielder Darryl Strawberry, has transferred from Pasadena Blair High to Santa Ana Mater Dei. He is expected to play basketball and baseball, said Gary McKnight, Mater Dei’s athletic director and basketball coach. Strawberry, a 6-foot-3 junior, is the cousin of Mater Dei forward Mike Strawberry.
