SEASON AT A GLANCE: The Conquistador captain anchored the defense for The Times’ No. 1-ranked team, which won the West Valley League title and captured its second City Section title in three years. “It’s not only his physical attributes as a player, but also his mental aspects that make him valuable,” Coach David Hussey said. “He’s always in the right place at the right time, and if he’s not, he gets there and makes the play.”

WEEK AT A GLANCE: Feldman headed away two shots that would have been goals for University, helping El Camino Real (27-3) preserve a 1-0 victory in the City Section championship game Saturday at UCLA. University had been averaging three goals a game.
