FBI Agent Shoots 2 Men, Foiling Holdup

An off-duty FBI agent shot and wounded two men who tried to rob him Tuesday night outside an apartment complex in Playa del Rey, authorities said.
The shooting occurred at Redlands Street and Gulana Avenue about 7:40 p.m., after the men approached the agent, Los Angeles Police Department officials said.
One of the wounded men remained at the scene. Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Pacific Division captured the other suspect.
Both suspects were being held on suspicion of robbery, and both were listed in stable condition at a local hospital.
