Irvine Sensors Elects Brashears Chairman

Irvine Sensors Corp. shareholders elected Dr. Mel Brashears chairman and approved an amendment to boost the Costa Mesa company’s number of authorized common shares, currently about 46.6 million.
Brashears, who replaces James Alexiou, is chairman and chief executive of the company’s INetworks Corp. unit.
Irvine Sensors develops high-density electronics, miniaturized sensors and sensor readout circuits, miniature cameras, optical interconnections, image processing and recognition devices, and low-power analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits.
