* Cal Poly San Luis Obispo (12-16) vs. Long Beach State (16-12), noon--San Luis Obispo players hardly should feel intimidated, as the Mustangs have victories over the conference’s top three teams this season. That includes a 72-62 victory over Long Beach on March 1. “It’s revenge time,” Long Beach Coach Dallas Bolla said. “Motivation won’t be a problem for our team.” But Mustang guard Odessa Jenkins might. She had 19 points in a first-round victory over Pacific on Wednesday. Long Beach’s Jackie Moore, the conference player of the year, is nursing a sore left ankle. The 49ers’ Ekuah Ramsey, the conference defensive player of the year, has a sore right knee.

* UC Santa Barbara (20-8) vs. Boise State (12-16), 30 minutes after first game--Santa Barbara had 20 victories for the sixth consecutive season. The Gauchos are well rested after expending little energy in routing Cal State Fullerton in the first round Wednesday. Lindsay Taylor, a 6-foot-8 freshman, had 19 points in that game. Santa Barbara has six players who average between eight and 14 points. Boise State held off UC Irvine in the first round.
